Wired Works

Having played with Android Auto for a get months, I’ve developed an annoyance around the requirement for needing to plug in a cable to my phone. It causes wear and tear on the plug and sometimes makes it awkward to use mobile payment in drive thrus.

However, switching briefly to another to another vehicle with Bluetooth, I ended up appreciating the wired connection. It’s the same reason I like my wired headset… it just works without a fuss.

Perhaps there’s an near field equivalent of a wired connection that is more reliable than Bluetooth.
