When Voice Doesn’t Work

Is there a workaround for quick commands when we’re in situations where we can’t use voice?

A few such situations come to mind:

  • Stuck on a phone call
  • Stuck in a meeting
  • In an elevator or subway
  • *Indisposed*
  • Getting caught in an unexpected conversation

While we wait for Neural Lace to be available to send thought-to-text messages, this is where machine learning could potentially offer some solutions. Detecting when we’ll be late and automatically send messages would be a huge help, same would be letting certain people on our contact list who we designate to know what our situation is if they’re trying to reach us.

This is an area where there’s room for lots of cool application of AI.
