What Frees Up Time?

If we define freeing up time as allowing you to “ do what you want when you want to do it” then there are two components:

  • What you want to do.
  • When you want to do it.

What you want to do can change and is different for everyone. When you want to do it is also different from everyone.

Outsourcing frees up time by getting someone else to do something you didn’t want to do. It means that time that you would have spent doing that can now be spent doing something you want to do. It expands the range of time for wanted things to do. It deals with the second part of the equation.

But what about the first?

If someone only wants to work all the time, is all of their time free time? It is possible to change the first part by being more clear with oneself what they’d like in life and what they want to accomplish and by when.
