Waze Impresses Again

I turned on Waze today to navigate to a destination. When I went to my favorites, I was expecting to have to dig through an alphabetically sorted list. Instead, the place I wanted to go to was listed first.

Waze sorted by probability — which favorite I was likely to use at that moment. Love it!

On the surface, it’s a very simple implementation but it reflects someone really thinking from the user perspective and what they would want. Anyone designing a product should take inspiration and think more about delighting users in these small but meaningful ways.
