Un-magical
Not saying which one yet, but I recently got a new Internet-connected home device. My near immediate reaction was to try to integrate it to voice. My first experiment was with Google Assistant and the experience was nothing like magic. It didn’t work. The excitement I had anticipating launching this device by voice command was palpable and when it didn’t work in the few moments I had before the kids ran in, I had to scrap the mission.
Even printers print test pages when you set them up. Why can’t we send a test actuation to device to determine if they’re working through voice?
