The Battle Over Music

Maybe this will be short lived, but there’s a battle in my house over the music being played through the Echo. Truthfully, I love this. It sparks a discussion and while it does lead to conflict and occasional tantrums, it does help foster better expression and communication. Maybe this is what it was like in the 1940s and earlier to have one only one radio and have the family argue over which station to tune into.

Music during tidy up time, cooking, laundry, etc makes things much more relaxed and a debate over who gets to choose what gets played makes things more interesting.
