The AI Aftermarket
Thanks to a recommendation from my brother, I stumbled on a great website, futuretools.io. It showcases many of the new GPT3, Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, other other AI-based tools on the market and the third parties that have built solutions around these offerings. It’s amazing to see how quickly there’s developed a breadth of offerings to automate the AI workflow.
This is where we’ll be able to unlock the power of these tools. Currently, there’s still a lot of manual work involved in using them. Whether it’s writing a prompt, checking the results, upscaling something you like, downloading reposting, etc, it takes time. Many people who aren’t as tech savvy or patient will fall off the journey as a result.
A company can offer value by removing steps and making it much easier to engage with AI. Some even combine different AI tools. The result of some of these companies may be an offering that delivers exponentially more value than the base tool. This is where the next set of unicorns will emerge.
