That’s the Wrong Duck

Trying to encourage my kids to take a bath, I asked Alexa to play Rubber Ducky. You know… this one:

Instead, I get a remix that isn’t really appropriate for kids. Again. It’s not the first time.

Then, I asked for Champs Elysees by Joe Dassin. While the song is available to my in Spotify, Alexa tries to sell me an Amazon Music subscription.

Music is voice’s killer app. It’s still not easy. What this illustrates to me is four years on, problems still persist. Either the current UX is “good enough” for Amazon or the problems are too tough to resolve.
