Suggest Type
The AI revolution isn’t going to appear with armageddon like in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. It’s happening today in discrete advancements that become more visible. Input methods are a great example of this creeping up.
First, you had swipe type. Then, you had autocorrect. Then, you had autosuggest. Now, you have suggested type. With it, whole sentences can be completely. It won’t be long before entire messages are pre-composed and soon after, we’re just configuring who we auto-respond to and what time of context we allow the service to send.
Then, we sit back and realize that our emails are being responded to without us needing to do anything and ask: what are we for? We will be the ones creating our own persona and how we want to represent ourselves to the work.
