Still Bookmarking

My behaviour towards bookmarks hasn’t significantly changed in over 20 years. I keep very few bookmarks in only a few categories and regularly cull the ones I don’t need.

The ones I use the most I treat as shortcuts, right under the URL bar. The rest… well, the most recent are some immediate reference and the older ones are there for nostalgia.

Despite Evernote and the myriad of similar products out there, I almost never use clippings of any type. Maybe this will change at some point because of a fundamental shift in browsing but it’s difficult for me to envision.
