It amazes me how spell check can sometimes be completely thrown for a loop by one letter. For all the advancements in natural language understanding, spelling seems to remain challenging. I had misspelled millennia and the spellcheck offered zero recommendations.

Spelled with “cst” you get several suggestions. Why not “milenia”
Language is difficult and we can’t assume things that seem easy for us will be easy for computers. Building manual rules doesn’t scale and it’s difficult to train system for exception. English has many language rules and there are many words to build models for.
But no suggestions for a missing l in millennia? C’MON!
