Over the weekend, a family member came to me with phone troubles. There was no cable for her iPhone. What to do? I found another cable, but it wasn’t working. Then, I remembered something.

The newer iPhone has wireless charging and my S10 has wireless power sharing. Let’s give it a try…

This was a watershed moment for me as I realized the usefulness of Qi charging. My phone was as good as a charging station, even though it meant I had to stop using it during the charging.

This also made me think that we might be saying goodbye to ports soon.
