Setting the Table

ChatGPT rolled out the ability to format responses into tables. This makes it much easier to organize ideas and potentially reduces the time and effort to communicate these ideas effectively.
This is another small step towards making these technologies consumable and shareable. Nothing is more mind meltingly boring than copying and pasting ideas into table and having to format them. It’s wonderful that this tool will now allow for it.
Yes, generative AI is a breakthrough but the technology has been out for some time. Gasoline was also a breakthrough but it wasn’t until you could easily pump it into your car that it became useful. OpenAI is moving this in the right direction with little fixes.
