Purposely Ignored

One of the more aggravating experiences is being purposely ignored. It ranges from being told to “speak up” to being ghosted.

What’s worse is that it is difficult to ascertain the motivation for being ignored. Is it because the other party is overwhelmed or is it because they hate us?

In some instances, it’s also difficult to be certain that we are being ignored. Did the person hear us? Did they get the message?

In designing a UX or CX, it’s really important that you don’t make people feel ignored. Heck, even if that’s a service you’re charging did you shouldn’t do it.
