Not Everything Is On Google

In fact, most important things are not on Google. The real answers you need aren’t there.

No one knows your situation better than you do. There is no guru. There is no enlightened source that will reveal what you should do next — beyond what’s already between your two ears.

Of course, you can assign the source of this to the divine, but Google isn’t it.

Also, the fringes aren’t usually on Google. Satellite images of “unpopular” places? Nope. No StreetView either. Maps won’t find you the right direction either. Google can’t get into unpublished information. The stuff in court basements that isn’t scanned.

In the end, there is still a need to learn how to research, how to press for answers beyond the first page, and also, how to add some skepticism to the results. We need this so that we’re not misled.
