Some have asked for my advice for building Skills for Alexa. Among the top nuggets, after creating compelling content, is to use your own your voice for your Skill. That a makes all the difference.
It doesn’t have to be your voice but it should be something recorded, unique to your Skill. Longer form TTS on Alexa will improve but it is no where as good as a real spoken voice.
