More Spotify on Alexa

Someone in my house has become obsessed with a particular French artist and they’ve demanded playback from Amazon and Spotify on mobile. A few times, I’ve had to change playback from my phone to my Echo Show. The experience has actually been fairly easily, However I’m curious about training the Echo Show what to do when other interfering apps.
