More Chiming In
When Amazon Chime came out, one of the cool features that they mentioned was the ability to reach out to participants by phone so they didn’t have to call in. I love this idea as it beats having to enter phone numbers, meeting ideas, and passcodes to get into a call. Especially annoying is doing this during a long drive, which might involve needing to pullover.
I’d be curious to heat how this been adopted and whether many people are using this feature. Sometimes, something that is a great idea and intuitive doesn’t get traction because either people don’t know about it or the tools to implement are difficult to find.
For corporate communication tools, it would be great if this was built into communication apps. “Are you ready to join?” Pressing “Accept” would get you in by audio (starting by audio and not audio and video is just the right thing to do).
