It’s Getting Better

I had a very good experience today with Android while driving. “OK Google, make a phone call to [client]”. “OK Google, play [song] from Spotify.” “OK Google, open Waze”. Every time, perfect.

In this case, there was not special hardware. The phone was connected through Bluetooth to the car, and the microphone was on the Samsung phone.

This interaction represents a many fold increase in capability of near field voice interaction in car. Congrats, Google.
