One of my shorter term concerns is that we won’t be able to differentiate from computer generated contented and reality. Essentially, what if special effects become so easily to use that anyone can direct a change to original content.
I love how this YouTube channel — CTRL shift face — illustrates this by changing faces. I first noticed this when I thought “wow… Bill Hader does look kinda like Arnold… is that how he does these impressions?”
How long before this gets so good that it’s indecipherable?
