Is It Real?

One of the skills we’ll need to hone in ourselves and our kids is inspecting the source of information. It is so easy to create news and sites that look real that even intelligent individuals can get swept in.

A friend, someone we trust, reposts something that seems real but is just mildly off. We see an article that looks like news and think “that’s so bizarre… I can’t believe Trudeau would do that.” Then you dig in and think, wow… who are…
