Invisible AI and Pre-Composed Emails

Ramit Sethi provided some great email scripts for getting a response from VIPs. I’ve used Boomerang for Gmail to look at the likelihood of a response to my email. Recently, Google started to role out potential responses to emails.
It’s unclear whether these responses are based on what I’ve written or what other people have written in response to similar emails. It’d be great if it were the former.
With Google Duplex maybe making calls (maybe there will be some announcements around this at Google’s event in October?), it would seem to be an easier task to precompose emails with more detail than a one line response. What if these suggestions could be determined based on context of the user or the conversation?
It seems like we could do more here. In the meantime, I’ll rely on canned messages.
