iLuv Speakers Shipping with Alexa
Last month, iLuv announced that it would be producing speakers with Alexa Voice Service onboard. This month, they are shipping.
The Aud Click joins JAM and FABRIQ for AVS-enabled devices. Unlike Nucleus and Triby, it does not have a handsfree mode.
The value proposition of such a speaker over the Echo Tap is 1) it’s cheaper — $50 vs $130 for the Tap and 2) the speaker quality is “potentially” better (in quotes as I haven’t tested).
If the fairs at CES Asia in 2016 or the HK Electronics Fair are any indication, many more of these AVS-push-to-talk devices are going to be available on amazon.com in the coming months.
