I’ll See It When I Believe It

My wife (of ten years today) used this line a few years ago. At first, I was baffled. I thought it was a misquote of the idiom “seeing is believing”. However, the more I pondered the quote, the more it made sense.

Sight is information. This information interpreted and we need to believe that this interpretation is a representation of something that’s real.

So, we do need to believe in order for us to see.

Happy 10th anniversary, my 🐈.
