Working with ChatGPT, I’m wondering if this series is due for a refresh. After all, there was a cameo from Bing, who was biding his time.
I thought about this after starting to predict what might have been some responses from the service. “As of September 2021…” Also, the response will usually start out as general with a reluctance to go into specifics and needs to be coaxed into making assumptions and taking guesses.
As we discover the extent of the malleability of LLMs, it’ll likely be more difficult to adjust to or predict their responses. Some, however, might retain a personality and cause us to project a personality on them.
