How Much Do You Want To Donate?

This is what Alexa asked me yesterday morning. My daughter had pressed something on the Echo Show’s screen and it prompted with that. I’m not sure what she was going to donate to, but I’m hopeful there would have been some confirmation before charging me.

Maybe this was a test to see by Amazon to check how well a press to order would function, or maybe it was just benign with no ulterior motive. It made me wonder whether the Echo Show could be used like an Amazon Dash Button.

Touch displays in combination with voice are still an untapped area. Opening up the camera to developers could lead to even more innovative ideas. These could also lead to more transactions on Alexa.
