HomePod Mini

WWDC is next week and I’m wondering about a next iteration of the HomePod. Thinking about HomePod, since it can’t compete on the assistant scale anytime soon with Siri, why not have it embrace more completely the Appleverse?

Some thoughts:

• Have it project health or other information that’s capture on the Apple Watch
• Allow it to act as a bridge for multiple Apple devices for a family
• Allow AirPods to connect directly to it so you stream without your phone closeby
• Allow it other features like a NAS for Apple device

If Apple’s strategy is a walled garden, why not make the walls a bit higher and add some better fountains.
