Google booted Bard, it’s so-so first public foray into generative AI, and replaced it with Gemini, a product it announced several months ago. However, Gemini is significantly integrated into Google products, including email, and docs.

This puts it an advantage for the “regular” Google power user. They can ask Gemini to do things that might take a few minutes to accomplish. Imagine what documents could be whipped up quickly and then used to pour in creative content by a user.

This integrated removes the barriers that are need to get real use out of an LLM. It will also spread adoption and pave the way for new applications.
