Enjoy the Lead Up

Booking a vacation far in advance gives much more value — you can enjoy all the time thinking about it before you go. The movie, The Island, is all about clones enjoying the life of a lead up to eventually making it to the Island (the reality for them was a bit different).

However, we can probably make ourselves (and clients) much happier by giving some lead up. Giving a little mis bouche for them to look forward to the meal. Email teasers, a preview of content, a sample — before delivery.

Lead ups are gifts for us to do better work. Or to enjoy life more.
