Email Never Ends

I’ve tried practicing Inbox Zero but there’s always one piece of sludge that I never get to. I don’t want to deal with that email or it requires a whole project to respond. I’d put it on my calendar, but who am I kidding? I know I won’t do it.

What I really need to do is get up the nerve to just say no to it or to let it go and archive it. Maybe that’s the time of insights that Outlook can give? Or a Gmail… or Boomerang.

There have been many experiments with different type email. Remember Google’s Inbox? There were smart labels, focus inboxes, etc. But what we really need is something that isn’t easy to handle through a feature… guts. Guts to have opinions and not fear missing out.
