I wrote a bit about DSP selection here.
TL;DR version:
- Lots of choice available now
- Need to understand if your device will be used for push-to-talk, near field, or far field
- For Alexa Voice Service, far field may require four mics
- Another key benefit — you can have a low power wake word
- Not a good idea to try to implement your own far field DSP
