Data Overwhelm

With generative AI, one of the drawbacks we may face is being flat out overwhelmed by the extent of data and choices available to us. We can watch something that was created by someone else that we might like or we may have something created fresh for us based on our tastes.
When searching for the right choice, we may be able to sort by dozens of dimensions we might not have been able to access before. At some point, we’ll need to decide and take action.
Generative AI might end up being like a pharmaceutical company that develops a cure for the illness it also created. “There’s too much to choose from, let me help” it will say. It will aim at simplifying choices based on our preferences.
