Bots Beyond The Valley

I’m wondering if chat bots are slowly climbing back up from the trough of disillusionment. In 2014, we were at the height of hype, with Facebook acquiring wit.AI and soon after launching M.

Alexa Skills and Amazon Lex, Actions for Google Assistant and DialogFlow, among other tools, have made it easier to build and deploy chatbots. And their usefulness has been proven in contact center applications.

Now might be the real opportunity to create a bot factory that starts to automate interactions, especially lengthy human-driven data acquisition tasks.
