This year, Echos and Homes and Google Assistant/Alexa Voice Service enabled devices are going to be on sale. But what about next year?
If the Amazon or Google hardware eventually goes to $0, what will speaker companies/consumer electronic hardware companies fight over? The sales that might be on in a year from could be:
- Screen-based devices
- Additional built in features on CE devices
- “unlimited” services being bundled with the purchase of connected products
- Many products being bundled together as kits
Maybe in a year’s time there’ll still be VR/AR wear but that might be the 2020 sales.
