Having both an Echo and a Home can lead to strange situation where you need to remember which one is better at what.

“Alexa, sing ABC” — you get a William Shatner impression.

“OK Google, sing ABC” — you get a WaveNet generated sing song of ABC.

Alexa seems to give samples of music at times when I have access to the full song on Spotify. Google Home defaults to Spotify for everything.

Generally, the experience with the Echo is much better for one reason alone: you get an indication when the device has been triggered by seeing the lights. This has led to me using the Echo 5x more than the Home. With Google, you don’t know if it’s experience a false rejection.
