Alexa, Load the Android App

Across two Android devices, one consistent experience… a slow app. Reviewing my past recordings, the app is 2005-era slow. It’s like a beta version.

This has been the case for several years for me, to the point where I’ll avoid the app as much as possible. Exacerbating the issue is that there are features in the app that are not available through the website, forcing the app to be used.

Maybe in a few years Amazon will get it right. Or maybe this slowness is a feature to remind us how great voice interaction is compared to using your thumbs and fingers?
