AI-Generated Rosh Hashanah Greeting Cards
The teachers of two of our kids asked us to write greeting cards for Rosh Hashanah and put them in their bags to be given to the kids during their last classes before the holidays. More homework for parents. Then, I remembered that I use Midjourney almost every day. This will be the second year I’ve tried my hand at making greeting cards for Rosh Hashanah using generative AI.
My last holiday attempt was on the holiday of Shavuot where I played with the idea of Moses descending Mount Sinai with cakes, playing with the idea of “The time of the giving of our Torah” to “The time of the giving our cakes (torts)”…
Back to Rosh Hashanah, I wanted to create cute by Rosh-Hashanah themed items. Rosh Hashanah has many symbolic items: pomegranates, apples, honey, shofar, among other items.
For the girls, I created Kawaii-themed greetings:
Going back, I realized you could make many more themed images…
What’s almost as much fun as generating these images, is seeing the misses. This is definitely generated by someone who hasn’t been to a Rosh Hashanah dinner:
Now, I didn’t go the route of generating the text for the cards from AI, but if I wanted to, I could have used these sweet outputs from ChatGPT:
- Wishing you a sweet New Year filled with joy and new beginnings!
- Shana Tova! May your year be filled with blessings and peace.
- As the shofar sounds, may your dreams take flight in the New Year.
- Celebrating the gift of another year and the promise of renewal.
- May the New Year bring you a fresh start, good health, and boundless happiness.
- To new chapters, fresh starts, and the sweetness of life. Happy Rosh Hashanah!
- As the apples dip into honey, may your days be dipped in joy.
- Shana Tova! Embracing the beauty of new beginnings.
- From our family to yours, wishing you a Rosh Hashanah filled with love and light.
- As the Book of Life opens, may your story be written with joy and prosperity.
Next, I’d need to get WhatsApp to send these greetings out to those who celebrate Rosh Hashanah. Maybe that will come in the next few years?
