There I am… focused, listening to focus music, writing something focused. I pause for a thought, then my fingers move. Maybe I was reaching for a dash when all of a sudden “doot doot”. The music stops, there’s silence, a window on the top right side of the screen begs for attention.

It’s Siri. She thought I beckoned here. I wait for her to stop listening. I close the window. I wait for Bluetooth to reconnect to music. I wait for the music to start playing again. I wait for the Bluetooth mode to change to stereo.

It’s a 45 second (or so) ordeal. 0th world problem.

The culprit? The touch bar on the Macbook pro. It has no tactile feedback to warn me before I press the Siri button.

I just might have to figure out how to hide it.
